Spring Break

So this week has been spring break for our family.  We got to go to the eye doctor.  Heather is getting new glasses.  When we get them I will post a picture.  I am still waiting for Heather's school pictures to come.  We ordered a wheelchair lift for the stairs.  Yay!!  Heather is having surgery on the lower half of her body to try and release some of her muscle tightness.  Her surgery is on April 24, 2012.  We will be staying overnight in the hospital.  She will be in full leg casts for 3 weeks and half leg casts for 3 weeks after that and then we should have her AFO's by then.  This is the reason we needed a wheelchair lift.  She won't be able to crawl up the stairs and she is getting to heavy already for me to carry, even without the added weight of casts.  CRS is ordering her a special wheelchair seat for her to be able to sit in with her casts on.  It will be interesting to get her from wheelchair to car.  I just thought about that.   Hmmmmm.............

Heather's Button

So, I gave Heather a bath and was needing to change her tube.  I tried to replace it but the tool to remove it wouldn't catch right.  Her tummy started bleeding so I took her to the hospital so the doctor could do it.  2.5 hours later Heather's tube was replaced and we got to go home.  Yay!!  Happy St. Patricks day.

Finished Tagging

I got to tag a whole bunch of girl and boy clothes to sale on consignment through Kids Mart in Athens, AL.  I finished that today and an item of mine already got sold today before they are even officially open.  Woo Hoo.  Hopefully it will go ok.  We shall see...

Travels

I went to Oklahoma to see my 1st nephew, on my side of the family, get baptized.  The baptism was wonderful.  The break was also wonderful.  I went without any of my kids or Karl.  I left Friday morning and got home Sunday night.

Karl bought me 2 dozen roses the next day.  I guess he loves me and missed me. :)  I thought that was really sweet.  I love my family.
